I had the absolute pleasure of designing and making two guitar stools with built in guitar rests, for music loving twins! As a keen guitar player myself, I was delighted to take up this project. Although they won’t make you play any better, you will look cool as you do!
Made completely from solid Oak, with curved, hand shaped seat and turned legs, it was a fun design to come up with. Finished with a stylish two tone look, I’m really happy with the end result!
Sometime in 2020 (let’s be honest, we all lost track of the days!) we made and fitted this chunky Oak mantelpiece in it’s new home. A solid Oak shelf like this is always a beautifully, simple way to finish any fireplace and we think it looks great! The light Oak finish really stands out against the grey walls. Practical but stylish too!

We started 2021 with this solid Oak, double wardrobe, perfectly fitting into an existing alcove.
All the joints are mortice and tenon, the proper way! Completed with hand turned Oak knobs, it’s wonderfully solid and made to last a life time.
